My condolences to you and the family in the passing of your brother. I lost my sister on March 9 or this year to liver cancer, and we kept thinking she would just "bounce back" like she'd always done after a liver transplant and 18 times in the hospital. But God knows best, and although at first we were praying for her healing, we had to change our prayer to "GOD, Your will be done--whatever you see fit for her life, give us the strength to accept it." It's still hard not having her around, but we know that God doesn't make mistakes.
Keep us in prayer as we do the same for you and your family.

I am a sister born and raised here in Oakland, CA. I grew up listening to all the anointed, highly inspirational artist
that you spoke of in your Bio. I am a wife and mother of six children (5) boys and my baby girl. My husband and I have come to the Lord as of 7/10/05. I am a 32 yrs. blessed saint who in March of 2005, was having open-heart surgery due to a leaky valve. This was new for my family members and immediate family as well. With all the children I've had and doctor's visits that had to take place, never had I been notified of any heart trouble of any sort. The miricle of our Lord & Savior JESUS Christ! I had to become a physical representation of the sacrifical Lamb. When I pulled through my sugery I was greeted by my loving, praying, devoted,and supporting family. My husband who is also from Oakland Ca. a 10 yr difference in our ages. He had given his life to Christ full-force! My sons now have a Godly/ God fearing man to look to for guidance and direction. The man he was before was definately a full time father in every way except trusting in the Father to lead him in everything he does. We now have a ministry called S.O.C.K.S "Soldiers Of Christ Kind Servants" This is something for the young men to get the teachings, love, advice, guidance,wisdom of the Word. They will be taught to appreciate the gift of life. Help our elders with things around their community, help the children with whatever their needs are at the time. It's time to do what the BIBLE says not just read, or memorize verses. This is a time of action. The Father is calling for His warrior (prayer warriors) to come together in His name and fight! I would like to thank God for using you to speak to me. It never fails, when I am feeling my worst. He always sends a message for me through your words. I have been informed that I will be laid off at the end of the month and just this morning I was thinking about all the people that God has blessed, whether it was someone graduating from college, a family member starting a new job or my co-worker who has another job line up already with the option of taking a week or two off before she starts. Now I praised God with them and I am happy for them, but on this morning I could not really rejoice with them because I took the focus back to myself. Thinking about how to do this? or what am I going to do?. Thinking being the age that I am I should have some type of focus or better yet know what I want to do and what I want out of life, but I don't. So as I sat at my desk this morning exiting this season complaining, stressed, worried and everything else. I decided to open my email and what does God have for me to read? an email of encouragement, an email with him speaking directly to my heart, telling me to get myself together and stop wallowing in the closure of this job and the I don't knows, But to praise Him for the closure and the NEW that He will bring forth in my life. Believe (in) him, Trust (in) him and to count MY blessings. Now this is more than what I wanted to say....But I wanted to share and what better way than to use the example at hand. So to sum it up...Your words have been a blessing to me, food for my soul. Thank you for letting God use you. Your weekly emails are right on time for me. Thank you....

I appreciate the conforming word of the LORD on today February 21, 2007. Since February 14, 2007 God has been speaking to me in regards to The Discipline of Hearing (Read Matt 10:27). I believe that just not for myself but for all born-again believers that GOD is calling us to a place of quietness, so that we can hear from him and not from others nor what we might thing is correct. Jonno my man. God is truly in the blessing business. It was good seeing you again. Listen what God is doing in your life no words can describe. The message you sent out on today is the same message that God gave me to give to our teens tonight for bible study. It's actually entitiled: "Living saved is for punks".
