Description:farmerbrown is hosting San Francisco’s first-ever, youth run, gospel brunch in collaboration with the non-profit "old skool cafe" EVERY sunday. enjoy an all-u-can-eat delicious brunch buffet(scrambles, stone ground grits, bacon, fried chicken, sweet potatoe pie, and so much more) with live entertainment. 10am-3pm $25 Jonno will be performing and mentoring young people in their performances. Come to dine, and be blessed.

This engagement is going to be one of the most memorable for me. The youth who are part of the Old Skool Cafe program are eager to learn and enthusiastic about serving. The are taking in so much in a real world atmosphere as they serve and entertain. I was blessed by being a part of the day.

Pastor Kelvin Sauls and Judi of Downs Memorial United Methodist Church, Oakland, CA have accepted an appointment to a new position in the organization in Nashville, TN. This celebration is to see them off on their journey in ministry. Jonno will join in the celebration and sending off of these awesome servants of the Lord.

This event will stick in my mind and heart for a long time to come. Sending away someone you love is always bitter-sweet. We will miss Pastors Kelvin and Judi Sauls, but we are overjoyed in the hope of seeing them in the near future. Blessings on their ministry.

Consecration

We are excited about what God is doing in our home. This is a brand new year in which God can do more of the exceeding abundantlies in our lives. My oldest daughter (13yrs old) returned from Leadership Camp 05 in the Santa Cruz mountains on fire for the Lord. The first thing she wanted to do was to be baptised, so at our New Years Eve service, she was. She has started the year off fasting and praying.

I had a little different beginning to my year. On Friday, January 6, 2006, I went to the hospital and underwent surgery. I had been having pains in my back, neck, shoulders, and shooting pains running down my arms. I also had numbness and tingling in my fingers. Now, pain and I don't really get along too well, so my doctor refered me to one of the Bay Area's leading neurologist. The neuro-surgeon explained the procedure after giving me a very detailed exam pinpointing the problem.

My wife and I drove in Friday morning into San Francisco. I had two discs removed from my lower neck, then fusion in my vertibrae. The doctor said that everything went really well especially because I was healthy and thin. I thank God for the prayers of all those who were praying. Now comes the recovery and rehabilitation time. I solicit your prayers for a quick recovery time period.

Needless to say, I have taken the first month of this year off. The Lord has certainly been our provision with things like food (cooked by the saints), and in other ways including financially. We are taking this opportunity as a time of consecration and prayer. God said, "you shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy," Lev 19:2. I truly believe that having a great start of the year with healing, holiness, prayer, and fasting will lead us to our assignment...and an assignment fulfilled. Please prayer for us and with us.
