EULOGY

Posted on January 22, 2010 with 2 comments

The word EULOGY is usually associated with a funeral. The origins of the word are Greek eulogia=praise, from eu=good + -logia=word. If life and death are in the power of the tongue, why don't we expend energy sharing a eulogy before someone dies. After is good, but before is more rewarding. Edify, build-up, affirm, compliment, and honor someone today. ~Jonnoism

... or as my grandmother used to say, "Give me my flowers while I can still smell them..." That's good stuff!
