DOORS AND HALLWAYS

Bishop Joseph Garlington quoted the adage that says, "When God closes a door He always opens another one." He paused, then continued, "But it can be hell in the hallway." God understands your every aspect of your "hallway" situation. Rest assure, even if the hallway is darkened, that there is another door in front of you. It's a God-door. There's light shining through the bottom of it through the crack.
One thing to remember when faced with a transition: the way you exit one thing is the way you will enter the next thing.
When you walk through a doorway, you leave one space and enter another. The transition time is instant, but how you walk in depends upon you.
The Bible says, "I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalm 34:1
That means to praise God in the good times, and the bad times; in the bright sunlight, and in the darkest parts of the night; in the face of adversity, and in the embrace of love; in the midst of trial, heartache and pain, and in the time of triumph, health, and promise; in the beauty of His holiness, or in the darkened hallway, yet praise Him.
It's more than a choice you make. It's an actual "putting on" of character.
Go ahead, wear it well.
